The Cologne based Professor of Psychology, Wilhelm Hofmann, was appointed as „APS Fellow“ by the Association for Psychological Science, in this way honoring his oustanding scientific contributions. He, furthermore, took up the responsibility as associate editor at the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology: Intergroup Relations and Group Processes, one of the leading journals in social and personality psychology.
