As of spring 2016, Achim Wambach will be the new president of the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim. The ZEW is part of the renowned Leibniz Association. With nearly 200 employees and an annual budget of more than EUR 20 millions, the ZEW is the third largest economic research institute in Germany. Currently, Prof. Wambach is principal investigator at the Center for Social and Economic Behavior (C-SEB) and Director of the Institute for Economic Policy at the University of Cologne (UoC). The C-SEB congratulates Prof. Wambach to his new role and wishes him every success in his new field of activity.
