In the recent Handelsblatt Economics Ranking 2017, Professors of the Center for Social and Economic Behavior (C-SEB) have once again achieved excellent ranking results. In the category “Best Research Performance”, which considers the quality of recent publications, C-SEB is represented several times: Matthias Sutter ranks 5 th., Carlos Alòs-Ferrer ranks 22 th., Patrick Schmitz ranks 25 th., Felix Bierbrauer ranks 32 th. and Axel Ockenfels ranks 47 th.. In the category “Lifetime Achievement”, which takes into account all studies ever published, Matthias Sutter (rank 30) and Patrick W. Schmitz (rank 33) also achieved very good ranking results. For the ranking, all studies that were published over the past five years by approximately over 3000 economists in Germany, were evaluated.
