Der Leo-Spitzer-Preis für Nachwuchswissenschaftler:innen ist bei einer Laufzeit von zwei Jahren mit 30.000 € ausgestattet und wird zur Förderung von Spitzenforschung seit 2013 durch die Universität zu Köln vergeben.
