These adolescents not only fall behind in school, their non-cognitive abilities also suffer: they are less prosocial than before. That is the <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.uni-koeln.de\/en\/university\/news\/news\/news-detail\/covid-19-leads-to-a-decrease-in-prosocial-behaviour-among-disadvantaged-adolescents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">result<\/a> of a study conducted by a research team led by the behavioural economist Professor Dr <a href=\"https:\/\/c-seb.de\/en\/people\/matthias-sutter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matthias Sutter<\/a> at the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Social Sciences, at the Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute at the University of Cologne. Professor Dr Sutter is also a pricipal investigator at C-SEB.
